We just got finished making these super cute tiny totes for a group of lovely young ladies. These were custom made with each girls initial, you can get one today too! They are perfect for every fairy princess or green goddess you know! (as always these bags are made of recycled material and have a super small carbon footprint!)

We had a great time at our first Sundowner event with the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce! Marshall Weinreb, the new President and CEO of the Encinitas Chamber gave a heart felt talk and we were thrilled with the response we got, after donating a bag for the monthly raffle! Get your very own today! Better yet sign up for one of our classes and leave with a custom bag that you’ve designed & painted yourself.

Our bags are really getting noticed! Even Maggie Houlihan, Mayor of Encinitas, has one! Nancy painted this awesome 92024 zip code bag and presented it to Maggie on Tuesday. The Mayor said it was the one that caught her eye! We were so thrilled! You too can get a custom 92024 bag, just call us today!

Aw aren’t these pups the cutest! Hand crafted for a 70th birthday celebration. These postcards are just the sweetest way to say hello to a friend or tell someone you love them… and their dog. If you love these cute puppy cards too, you can learn how to make them by taking a screen printing workshop with I Love Making Stuff.
We will adding these to a line of products that we will feature at the Taste and Art Stroll in Del Mar, in October. Stop by and see us there!

Okay, so I start off the weekend with really bad news actually 2 really bad things that would normally make me want to crawl under a rock. But the Renegade Fair in Los Angeles was on this weekend and I had the great good fortune to go! What a treat. I have to say I have never been so inspired. The crafters and artists were so nice and the quality of the work was outstanding. And the pricing really fair. Really! I am in the middle of a redecorating project in the house so I had an excuse to buy several things to hang. I had to control myself. It’s in San Fransisco next weekend. If you can… go! I can’t wait until next year.

Here is just a sampling of some of the great things we made in our screen printing workshop. The students got two colors done in one class, which is pretty awesome. These posters would look great in any room!

As you could probably already tell….WE ARE IN LOVE WITH OUR NEW SCREEN PRINTING TECHNIQUE! Here is something we did in the studio recently. Isn’t it lovely. Wouldn’t you love to have this in your home. We will be selling these and other one of a kind screen prints at Del Mar’s upcoming Taste and Art Stroll in October.

This past weekend we held our first screen printing workshop! It was such a blast! Our students learned how to build their own screen, use paper templates and print. We avoid using the harsh chemicals of normal screen printing and our process can be done at home! Our class was so cool that we are thinking of having it on a monthly basis!
The next couple of blogs will be focused on our new passion, keep checking back to see all the crazy cool things you can do with just a screen, paper and some ink!
