Unique LA!

Look at all the cool stuff we brought back from the  Unique LA Indy design craft show!  Stickers, screen prints, button, books, handmade apparel and ideas made its way back home with us.
It’s so fun getting all of the designers free stuff! See you all there next year!

Unique LA.

Support your local Artists! Yes indeed. Sunday was a day filled with fun as we shopped and perused the aisles at Unique LA. I was glad to see a few of my favorites… Sean from 33StewartAvenue, Dan & Nathan from DKNG Studios, and of course  Mincing Mockingbird… who is doing so well since we first encountered him at the Felt Club, so well in fact that he’s having a book published and his work is being sold all over the country. It’s really nice to see people pursue their dreams and leave the corporate world and be successful! But the fun didn’t stop there, we encountered and met a lot of new folks and saw tons of great stuff. I came home inspired, exhausted and glad that I’ll have to wit until December to see them all again… which will give me the time I need to refill my “art fund cash drawer”!

1st annual waldorf craft show

When we were setting up, in what seemed like a really small space, I had my doubts about having signed up for this “new” show. But it was a great success! The organizers did a great job advertising because the turn out fabulous, and people stayed for a long time.We had the opportunity to meet many wonderful crafters and customers. And it’s just always so nice when friends show up to give support to our fledgling new business. The bonus was I got to learn a new craft too. We hope to be asked back next year. Special thanks to Jordan Katz for his helping hands and muscles… and to Katie for her hard work and beautiful creations. It just keeps getting better! We will announce the contest winner this week!
